Ride on Warstler Farm's Historic Trolley (from the Detroit Zoo) and enjoy hearing about the history of the area around Warstler Farm. Included in the tour is the history of the farms along Thomas Road (which is the road that led to the Town of Thomas). Also included are the houses and history of the Territorial Road (Metamora Road), and the buildings in the town of Metamora. The tour has a brief 30 minute stop in the town of Metamora to allow time to go inside the historic buildings. This tour takes approximately 2 hour (it can be shortened if needed). $10 PER PERSON (THERE IS A 20 PERSON MINIMUM AND A 30 PERSON MAXIMUM) Price based on 30 people, for less than 30 the remainder due will be adjusted the day of the event). Enjoy hearing about history while on a walking tour of Metamora. Hear the history of how Metamora began. Go into the historic buildings and hear about their past and the things that occurred there. Gun fights and ghost stories of the town will be covered.
Tour historic Warstler Farm and see the tornado damage that the farm sustained. Then walk to the now vanished town of Thomas. You will be shown the path that the Great Tornado of 1896 took. Hear about what the town was like and why they never rebuilt after the tornado. Walk past the remaining historic houses that survived the tornado. $100 for up to 10 people (kids 2 and under are free and they will probably want to be carried or pushed in a jogging stroller) (please email for special prices if you have a smaller group, a larger group, or if you need special field trip prices. Tour the historic farm and walk the path the kids took to school in the 1880's. Hear true stories about the Metamora pioneers, fights, and murder. The approximately mile long walk is not difficult. It does occur in wooded and sometimes wet areas along paths, fields, and uneven terrain - boots are strongly encouraged. The trolleys came from the Detroit Zoo, have an animal theme, and have cushioned seats. They are pulled by a John Deere Tractor. Depending on the season, you might see some actual farming along the ride or some wild life along the trail. If available a tour guide can come along and talk about the historic sights, local farms, or animals seen along the journey. The trolley can hold 36 people and costs $100 per hour.
Take a ride down the roads of Metamora or choose to take the trails and enjoy nature. Warstler Farm offers horse drawn carriage rides. There is no other carriage like this one in the area - it was shipped from Poland. The beautiful carriage holds 4 people comfortably (not including driver and helper). It is perfect for small get togethers or as a family activity. $125 for one hour.
Come to Warstler Farm and enjoy one of our horses. The horse (or horses) will be in a rustic pen where you can feed it, ride it, take pictures (while in the rustic pen, no unsafe poses will be permitted), and/or just spend time with the horse. Professional photography sessions can be done with the photographer of your choice (needs to be discussed in advance, fee for photographer NOT included in price). Use of riding helmet (and hair cover) is included. This event is outdoor. Maximum 20 people. $200 for one hour or $100 for half hour.

The unicorn will be in a rustic pen where you can feed it, ride it, take pictures (while in the rustic pen, no unsafe poses will be permitted), and/or just spend time with it. Professional photography sessions can be done with the photographer of your choice (needs to be discussed in advance, fee for the photographer NOT included in the price.) Use of riding helmet (and hair cover) is included. This event is outdoor. Maximum 20 people. $250 for one hour or $150 for half hour.
Fire Pits are now available at Warstler Farm. Let Warstler Farm do all the work while you enjoy a peaceful night under the stars with your family and friends. A trolley will take your group down the trail to your secluded fire pit that has already been started for you. Please do not leave your fire pit area, there are no lights except the glow of the bonfire. The trolley will return throughout your stay to take you to the restrooms and back to the cars at the end of your event (or you can text us if you need a trolley sooner). Firewood for the evening is included. Remember to bring comfy chairs and any food or drinks you would like. $220 FOR THREE HOURS for up to 20 people (if you have more people that you would like to attend please email before booking).
